Yet everyone can benefit from singing

Do you have trouble with focus and memory?
My professional singing career started when I was a teenager. I had the support of incredible vocal coaches and business guides to help me reach the success I did, but I still remember how scary and difficult it was!
I am a lifelong learner, and I still work with coaches to support me in everything I do, learn new skills, and grow as a person.
Teaching students to sing is my favorite thing to do. I know the science behind the benefits of singing - improved quality of life, better physical and mental health - and I would love to guide you to a happier, more fulfilled life through singing.
Over the past 20+ years, I have ticked a lot of boxes:
I released five albums and nine singles to radio, I performed at two of Nelson Mandela's birthday events, I performed at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona (where I shared a stage with Bono from U2), and performed at over thirty schools in and around Johannesburg, South Africa as part of the "Rocking Future" road show for anti-bullying.
I also launched and run a successful business where I get to support, teach, and mentor artists, have positive impact on the mental health of my students, and encourage more confidence and joy in the world.
Singing has the ability to rewire the brain, resulting in enhanced mental well-being. Research shows that singing offers various cognitive and emotional advantages, including stress reduction, mood enhancement, and improved memory and focus. Additionally, it can boost neurotransmitter levels such as dopamine and oxytocin, which contribute to feelings of joy and connection
Singing not only has mental and emotional benefits but can also have a positive impact on your physical health. Research shows that singing can strengthen your immune system by reducing stress levels and promoting feelings of well-being. This highlights the holistic benefits of engaging in activities like singing for overall health and wellness.
When we learn a new sport, we have a coach to teach us the in's and outs of the game. The same applies with singing. As singers, we are athlete's of the small muscles and we are here to help you learn about how your body (which is your instrument) works and how it can bring the best out in your overall sound.
We offer singing for all ages. Often, people have always wanted to try singing but never had the opportunity. We are here to nurture all the benefits that singing has to offer + finding your voice and building confidence on stage and in life is one of them
We generally like to keep our groups small so between 6 + 10 in each class.
Just yourself + an open mind. Singing is really an opportunity to get to know you, build confidence + connection, have fun, and be part of a community that supports your dreams and goals and encourages you to live your best life.
