Songwriting & Collaboration With Other Artists

May 4, 2021

If you look at any song these days you will see that 9 times out of 10 there are more than just one writer below the song title. And sometimes that is where the magic lives. We live in a world where collaboration can bring new life and new energy to a song and what it means.

If you look at any song these days you will see that 9 times out of 10 there are more than just one writer below the song title. And sometimes that is where the magic lives. We live in a world where collaboration can bring new life and new energy to a song and what it means.

Collaboration in my opinion is something everyone in the 20th century needs to explore. We all have our own unique talents and few people are masters at everything so know what you are good at and perfect that. Find collaborators and artists that challenge you and build your skillset and add something different to the piece of the pie.

Work with people who will help you grow. This helps you fine tune your skillset and elevates your talents and abilities as a songwriter.

Find your people, chemistry is so important when it comes to being vulnerable and writing a song so find people who bring light and love to the table. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Team work makes the dream work” and when it comes to songwriting and sharing a song you’ve collaboratively written with a team of people, the world is your oyster.

I myself love collaboration, and have collaborated with many entrepreneurs to create a business theme song that tells your brand’s story through music. If you’re an entrepreneur and are looking for a business theme song, Mia can help you! Here’s an example of one of Mia’s theme songs for Stacey Berger’s Ever Expanding Vision Workshop!
